I have heard that it can help with the withdrawals. I have about 6 mg methadone left and was going to take 1 mg every 3 days and then be done with it. So I had stuff to do and was in pretty bad shape. I had been self withdrawing from methadone for 7 days. I took 2mg of Subutex that a friend had to help me accomplish the tasks I needed to do. I am wondering if this is going to set my withdrawal back or make it worse when the Subutex is out of my system. Today is now day 8, but I'm hoping I am not set back to day 1. Im an 18 yr old female, I have been a heroin addict for 7 months, I started a subutex script and was clean for over a month until i relapsed. I started by smoking crack every now and again My boyfriend and uncle were using heroin and it was in my face so i gave in. I continued using for a further 3 month, i left my boyfriend but i was still living with my dad and uncle. A week ago i have been put on an methadone script only short term, i finishes tomorrow. whilst bein on meth i moved back to my moms away from my uncle, yesturday i went to see my dad and uncle and ended up using heroin again, i believe this to be a one off but this is how i relapsed before. The craving is really strong at the moment, im worried when i finish meth tomorrow im going to struggle more so. Its in my head 24/7 everythin everywhere is reminded me of heroin, even have a dealer living right across the road. This is my last chance with my mam but she is moving far away next week and i cant go so ill be movin back in with uncle and dad so im worried what will happen then, im really struggling. I only smoke it, i dont inject as last time when my ex injected me i did i overdosed. What would u suggest, how can i stop thinking about it...?

Hi, I am trying to find out more information about Suboxone. My boyfriend has been on Suboxone for a while now, due to his addiction to OxyContin. Every time that he tries to explain everything to me, it just becomes like a jumble of big words and I am looking for some more information. What is Suboxone?? What does Suboxone do? How long will he have to take Suboxone? What would happen if he came off of Suboxone? These are the main questions that I have. Please help me by giving me some more information, and if you could explain everything out that would be really helpful because I am very very new to all of this! I am on Subutex and i am reducing fortnightly but i am starting to feel side effects; i am really tired but i cant sleep because i am agitated and i drift off into nightmares and i sweat profusely in the day; im agitated angry aggressive argumentative edgy moody, Could anybody suggest what i can ask my doctor to prescribe me to alleviate these effects; Not necessarily but preferably non addictive thank you

If one was addicted to vicodin and was given subutex to detox but then got addicted to that, could vicodin be used for 3-4 days to detox from the subutex? Or do they both have some of the same ingredients? Please help.
