Why is it so difficult to find a doctor that will prescribe subtext rather than suboxone in the phoenix area?
Open Question: Is Vyvanse affecting my Urine Drug Test (U-Tox)?
August 16, 2010 By Leave a Comment
I sought help in April and started taking Subutex, and there have been no problems. I have had normal urine tests that showed all my medications before today.
Every day I have been taking 12mg of Subutex, 40mg of Vyvanse, 1mg of Clonazepam, and 2.5mg of Zyprexa. In order to get my next Subutex prescription, I have to pass a Urine test. I tested today at 10:00, and then re-tested at 11:30, both with the same results: only Vyvanse showed up on the test. My doctor asked "What are you taking?"... He did give me a new Subutex script, but I prefer that my doctor completely trust me. I took my Clonazepam at bedtime last night, the Vyvanse at 9:00 this morning, and I took 4mg of Subutex at 9:30 on the way to the doctor.
Recently I started talking a New Chapter "Every Man's One Daily" multivitamin (it contains herbal blends, and turmeric, maca, elderberry, etc...). Could that have some factor in this?
What overall is affecting my negative u-tox results? I just need the right answer to know what not to take! Thanks!!

My mom does not like Suboxone, and the generic for Subutex is cheaper.

i just want to say thank you so much to everyone for all the info you have given me. i am currently 15 weeks pregnant and on 8 mg of subutex. this site has given me hope and peace of mind. it really saddens me that there isnt more info out on subutex and pregnancy. subutex has been around for 30 yrs!!!!! you all have given me hope that i can have a happpy and health baby and that i shouldnt feel guilty for taking the subutex. this wasnt by far a planned pregnancy, i was on the depo shot for 6 months prior. dont know what happen with it, but now i am pregnant. i have spent hours, days, weeks researching subutex and this site is the only one that truely speaks the truth!!! thank you again!!!! i do have some other web sites that are worth taking a look at. if you want them please e-mail me @ ebm1277@yahoo.com and i will respond.

I suffer from severe sciatica. I have been taking the pill form (4-8mg.) for almost two months now along with a Fentanyl 50 mcg patch. This combination has been the first combo to work for me in over 18 mos. I started with low does percocet then brought up to the highest dose 650/10 for a few months with not much relief. This higher does also made me vomit every day and was then put on an anti-nausia drug. Then the Fentanyl patch was added and slowly increased to 75 mcgs. Unfrotunately this made me very irritable and I was no dream to live with! Thank God I have a patient husband. Once the doctor found out about the irritability and how sick the percocets were making me. I asked for the Fentanyl to be lowered back to 50 and he changed me from percocet to 4mg of dilaudid, that was not working very well so he gave me permission to take two when the break through pain was severe. Well it is severe everyday given the lowing of the Fentanyl. So now I take 1 4mg. in the morning as soon as the pain starts in my left buttox and left leg, then in the afternoon because of my increase in activity (finally) I take two because the pain is worse and then two for the same reason (increased activity) around or after dinner. Sometimes I do take one more late in the evening if I can not sleep due to pain.
The above combination has been the first combo to work for me for over 18 mo. of severe pain. I finally have some quality of life back! My husband says he has his wife back! :) And I am able to do things with my 20 year old son before he goes back to school in a few weeks. It has changed my life completely! I still have pain, even when I take two dilaudid, but it is bearable compaired to what I have been going through. I lived like a mushroom in three rooms of my home, could not drive and could not ride in a car as a passenger for very long either. I could not go to church (which is very important to me and my Pastor has been coming to me). Now I can go back to church! We actually just took a vacation too!
If you do not have a resperatory problem, I would suggest asking your doctor about this combination to help you.
Wishing you all the best, and given the date of your post I do hope you have already found the right meds for you! God Bless and hang in there!
Best regards, Geri

Resolved Question: if a person on subutex switches to methadone, will they have withdrawals?
July 30, 2010 By Leave a Comment
Voting Question: Was off methadone for 3 days?
July 29, 2010 By Leave a Comment
Then 3 days later took another 1.5 mg subutex. Then 3 days later took 9 mg methadone. Been 2 days since the methadone. Have i set myself back to square 1 with all the drug swapping? I have heard that it can help with the withdrawals. I have about 6 mg methadone left and was going to take 1 mg every 3 days and then be done with it. Anyone have advice on whether this is a good or bad idea?
