The only people we seem to come into contact is people still on the program! Some have tried but failed to jump off at various doses, & ATODS seem to think it is okay to stay on it indefinitely. But we are sick & tired of being tied to a 'replacement' addiction, financially & physically. Just need to see there is a light at the end of the tunnel & know that someone somewhere has done it successfully - & how they did it. Please, serious answers only.

I will be taking subutex in order to get off of oxycodone. How long will it take before I will be able to pass a drug test. Also will it show up on the drug test as an opiate or something else.

My stepdad was arrested last night and he had been taking Subutex. My mom refused to tell me about it but I could hear her crying and telling someone about everything on the phone. Being an 18 year old, I'm mature enough to listen and know what has been going on. I heard her saying that he had been on Subutex and it had been for about 10-15 years. She still refused to tell me anything despite that she left this morning to visit him at a police station. I need to know what will happen to us? What is happening with him? What will the police do to him? Besides in terms of emotion and reputation, how is this going to affect my mom? If he is charged guilty, how many years will be sentenced? I'm going to be taking subutex to help get off of my oxycodone prescription. Does anyone know if subutex is considered a narcotic or if it shows up on a drug screen?

iam 8 months and i have been on suboxone for the last year no one in my family knows not even my doctor and what happpens to me when i go into labor and there is something wrong im so worried to tell any of my family what i have been doing and what about social serivces do they get involved when i have my son and what happen then ??????? can someone please help me im going crazy i have been drug free for the last year just been taking 2mg a day the sono of the baby looks fine but they really havent said anything at all really i guess thats my fault cause im so chicken to say anything to anyone im afraid to loose my family over this p[lease help me

How long before subutex is out of your system enough so you'll test negative for opiates. I've read a lot and many people say it doesn't come up, but there was a handful of situations i read about in which people did test positive either way,regardless i would prefer to know how long it takes to totally leave my body enough so i could never test positive; i'd rather be on the safe side.
