Can a woman whose been taking subutex her whole pregnancy breastfeed her baby while taking it? I did ask my doc and he said he didn't remember and had to research it. He prescribes it. I figure it would be passed through to the baby through breastmilk but its also passed to the baby through the whole pregnancy....so I don't see a difference.

ok, how can you stop subutex ?if someone not addicted to anything had used it what can she/he do? for example if you are drunk, you drink coffee .now what about this?

I was dependent on percocet for a long time and have been clear for just about a year thanks to Suboxone and then switched to Subutex in August this year. I had to go for a hair follicle drug test last week and the results should be in within the next 24-48 hours. Will it show up as Subutex or will it show up as an Opiate? I have never once slipped and have been clean since starting treatment!!!!!! I am being tested for Opiates, Cocaine, PCP, Amphetamines, Marijuana. There was no one to tell what daily meds I took, so I couldnt tell anyone I am on Subutex. The only ones who know are my lawyer, family doctor and the doctor prescribing the Subutex!

i need to know the adverse effects of long term misuse via intraveinous injection, what physically might i be doing to myself by doing this

everyones story has helped and i want to says thanx first. right now im 7 months pregnant with my 1st child and on methadone for almost a month. i REALLY do not want to be on anything when the baby is born but my clinic doesnt want me to go down too far and will not switch me to suboxone. im strongly thinking of going to a private doc to get on subutex. im so scared and feel very lost. is it possiable to only be on suboxone/subutex for a week or so? i have so many questions that anyones help will be greatly appreciated. if you have any information of any kind, ecspecially dealing with switching from methadone to suboxone/subutex, your insite will assist me in ways i could only imagine!
