after reading about the side effects I don't want to take it through my pregnancy but my doctor doesn't want to take me off of it I swear because hes making so much money between the visits and the script. What can/should I do?

I have been diagnosed with a severe form of OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder). But now, I'm thinking it might be PO OCD (Purely Obsessional OCD). Either way, I have been on many medications such as the first line treatments including: Paroxetine (Aropax), Sertraline (Zoloft), Fluvoxamine (Luvox), Fluoxetine (Prozac). I have been on Clomipramine for about 2 years but I'm now terminating it. I have experimented with second generation anti-psychotics including: Risperidone, Zyprexa, Seroquel, Solian. Also, I have dabbled with Haloperidol, Largactil, and Stelazine. I have even tried self-medicating with Rohypnol, Oxycontin, Codeine, Dextropropoxyphene, Subutex, all the benzos: Valium, Serepax, etc. Hypnotics: Temaze, Mogadon, etc. Even alcohol and cannabis. NOTHING IS WORKING. Not even combinations. My mental health is deteriorating very, very fast. I am running out of options. This illness is destroying my life. I am getting worse by the day, even by the hour. There are a few possible experiments that I could conduct. Such as Clozapine, Dextroamphetamine, Lithium. If you know of ANYTHING that might work, (Single drug or combinations) please reply. Thank You for your time.

I want to quit taking the oxycontin because I'm worried for my baby, my doctor says it's ok and she would rather me be on it than on suboxone. I don't feel it is safe and I'm afraid it's hurting my unborn baby. I heard if i quit cold turkey I could loose the baby because of the stress of the withdrawls and I have gone through that before and it was hell, if I knew my baby would be safe I would go through it again in a heart beat but I don't want to risk loosing my baby. Whta should I do? Is Methadone detoxing safe while pregnant, what about Suboxone or Subutex without the Naloxone? I am willing to live the rest of my life in pain and deal with my back problems if it means giving birth to a healthy baby. Please I just want to know what I should do, what is the best way to get off the oxycontin that wont hurt my baby.

i took my last dose of sub a little over sixty hours ago. it was a two. i was only on them for six days.........first fours then they dropped me after two days to the twos i feel like shit. how long will it take for my receptors to clear. when would it work to take a pain killer or opiate?

I am worried my brother will misuse suboxone like he did with subutex (bupremorhphine).

Methadone and subutex/suboxone (buprenorphine) are simmilar when it comes to withdrawals. Am wondering has anyone experienced meth or sub detox. What can help with symtoms like anxeity, insomnia, depression and restless legs. I dont know if over the counter products will help opiate withdrawals but if anyone has any sort of experience or even knows anybody who has gone through this then any info help and advice would be very much appreciated. The doctors and centres dont really know too much in what can help and cant really prescribe anything either as u can exchance one substance to another so if anyone can help that be so welcome. i have been taking 8 mg a day of suboxone for almost a year and a half and for the last 7 days i have been taking subutex which is the same but without the blocker....does anyone know how long the blocker from the suboxone will be effective?
