I'm wondering if subutex allows the use of other painkillers or are the receptors blocked the way suboxone blocks the receptors and if so what are main differences between the two drugs..

Just wondering if subutex blocks the use of other opiates to your sensors the way suboxone does or can it be used in conjunction with other painkillers, pharmaceutical or "other". Does it push other opioids out of your system or is that the main difference between subutex and suboxone?

The biggest problem that the heroin addicts have when they try to kick off their habit is that they can't substitute the great feeling that heroin gives to them so does the Subutex solve that problem?Do you feel the high feeling like you are on heroin or it just blocks your opioid receptors like methadone or naltrexone?

I was told that subutes works on the same levels that suboxone does and that it is an opiate based med that works like suboxone but does not block receptors, is this true and what ways can subutex be taken? orally,sublingually, intraveneously and or sniffed? is there any truth to this?

People keep asking questions like the following:
•How do I stop smoking cigarettes;
•How do I stop smoking cannabis;
•How do I stop smoking crack-cocaine;
•How do I stop smoking heroin;
•How do I stop drinking alcohol;
•How do I stop binge drinking.
There is an incredible amount of disinformation in the market. The drug companies, the government and the health service are hell bent on pushing Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT), Zyban, Champix, Subutex and Methadone. Because these products have an air of legitimacy having been approved by the FDA, NICE and the European Union and other health or government bodies around the world they tend to get endorsed. Other methods that have any merit such as hypnotherapy, Low Power Laser (LLP) and Bioresonance get left out.
My frustration over the last five years to try and get some justice for the Alternative Methods has lead to the writing of a book on Addictions. The title of the book is: Addictions - the addictive 'truth'?. The first two parts of the book can be reached from the front page of our website. Click on the two book icons to read a PDF file.

This book is about half complete and it’s the distillation of many years of experience dealing with every addiction imaginable.
If you look at some sites people are either cursing the day drugs like Champix, Zyban or Statins came around and on the other sites the drug companies, the NHS, The Governments and the medical profession is singing their praises. I am not really interested in the hype and the ‘bull’ perpetrated by those people who have a vested interest in keeping us ignorant, so they can cheat us out of our money, but in self-evident truth. Clinical trials undertaken by the drug companies are always undertaken for victory and not for the truth. To this date, no clinical evidence has stood up to real-world results. Self-evident truth is far more important then the ‘hype’.
I am looking for people who would like to share their own horrors stores they have experienced from using some of these products or who have failed over and over with them. If people have suggestions of how I can improve the book then I would also be interested in hearing from you. As you can see my spelling and grammar are not that good so I would appreciate help on this as well.
Here is just a small extract from this book:
During the people in the UK were dying in their hundreds after they were admitted to government hospitals. However, there was one hospital that was based on like for like (homeopathy). This hospital achieved truly outstanding success rates and was saving many lives. The audit commissioner’s report on the effectiveness of the various hospitals left one hospital out – guess which one? The auditor was later slated in parliament but his answer was very simple. How can we include a hospital whose methods we just can't comprehend? The answer is just as daft as the one we hear today. How could we embrace natural remedies and methods that cost pennies when we have been taught all our lives that health comes at a very high price? The real answer is more likely to be something like this: “How can we admit that we have been unlawfully killing millions people all those years with dangerous and expensive drugs when we could have been saving countless lives with simple and effective natural remedies that cost pennies.” I suppose you can’t justify a six figure salary if you admitted that you really have no clue as to what you are doing!
I am looking forward to lots of feedback. If you think this should be done by forming our own discussion group then please let me know.
Wishing you success,
Shokat

My friend has recently stopped taking subutex after having a 6mg a day prescription for approx 7 years. He has reduced over the past 2 months and has now not been taking it for a week. He has been fairly ill and had to get DF's to deal with the pain. He is now taking valium but seems to have one good day then a really bad day, is this normal?
