I live in Austin, TX and am 19. Unfortunately, I'm addicted to heroin really bad, and I want to quit so bad. There's a Suboxone clinic on East Ave., East on 35 of Holly, but with Suboxone you have to be off of H for 2 days. I've called a few docs from turntohelp.com, but most are clinics, and I have insurance and need a regular doc to help me out. Also I want to go to Heroin Anonymous which is supposed to now have meetings Saturday's at 1pm but I don't know where. Anybody help me out please?

I have been on a very low dose of Subutex for 3 years. I don't know anyone who has gotten off of it who was not just doing the short-term detox thing. Has anyone else gotten off of it and stayed off opiates? Thank you---

not just what it feels like but what happens inside your body/brain? what are the risks? i don't take either and never will. please don't answer this question unless you actually have some facts you can share, i am asking out of genuine interest and am looking for knowledgeable replies not moral ones.

I have been perscribed to subutex throughout my pregnancy, and my doctor has been extra cautious and we have been doing weekly ultrasounds, checking on weight and growth, and everything is just fine baby is healthy and big, I am due in about two weeks so I haven't experienced what the withdrawal symptoms will be like for my baby, and I am not looking forward to it. But I have had a consultation with the neonatal nursery, and the doctors said only 50% of the babies with experience any withdrawals symptoms and the babies that do only experiece mild withdrawal symptoms. Once my baby is born I will be happy to report on how everything went.
